BALTIMORE, MD – After a standout weekend at the Bruno Invitational, Mason Hofmann has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MSPF) East/Delfina Player of the Week. This is fourth straight week that JHU has produced the league player of the week. In addition, this is Hofmann's second career MPSF East Player of the Week honor.
 
Hofmann totaled 18 goals, eight assists, five drawn ejections, two blocks and five steals in a 2-3 week at the Bruno Invite. He also scored the 100^th goal of his career versus the host Bears.
 
In the opener against MIT, Hofmann scored three goals in the double overtime win over ninth-ranked MIT. Hofmann followed that with four goals, a career high four assists, one block and three steals in the loss to 20^th-ranked Harvard. In the third game of the day, he notched a goal and an assist in the win over Conn College. On Sunday morning against the host Bears, Hofmann poured in a career-high seven goals, to go with an assist, three draw ejections, a block and a steal. He wrapped up the weekend with three goals, two assists, two drawn kickouts and a steal in a two-goal loss to Concordia Irvine.
 
Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, October 10 at the McKendree Invitational.
