  «  Senior Browning Trainer was named to the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in mid-September.  He becomes the eighth overall Blue Jay and the fifth in the last five years to be named to the prestigious team.
« The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes the extra efforts made by college football players and student support staff off the field. « The award honors college football players who go the extra mile for those in need with their efforts in volunteerism and community service.
« Johns Hopkins is one of just four football programs in the nation - at any level - to have a player named to the team in each of the last five years.  The others are Bethel (MN), St. John's (MN) and Morningside (IA).

« Starting with a 21-14 win at Randolph-Macon in Shane Kibbe's first start at quarterback, and including Baker's win last week, 14 different Blue Jay starting quarterbacks have now won their first career start.
« Interestingly, the 10th of those 14 consecutive quarterbacks to win his first start at Johns Hopkins was Zack Baker - Luke's older brother - who led the Blue Jays to a 41-10 win at Dickinson early in the 2017 season.
  « In their last 38 road games dating back to the start of the 2019 season, the Blue Jays are 30-8.  Seven of the losses have come against teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of the game (#6 Muhlenberg-2019 | #22 Muhlenberg-2021 | #4 Mount Union-2021 | #18 Susquehanna-2022 | #3 Mount Union-2024 | #25 Franklin & Marshall-2025) and #4 Wisconsin-River Falls-2025).  The other loss was at Randolph-Macon in 2026; the Yellow Jackets were ranked to start the 2026 season, but fell from the top 25 heading into the game against the Blue Jays.  They immediately jumped back into the top 25 after beating JHU.
« Dating back to the start of the 2013 season, JHU is 58-13 on the road.
  «  Johns Hopkins tied the program record for wins in a season with 12 in 2025.
« The 12-win season in 2025 marked the fourth season in program history, including the third straight, that Johns Hopkins has won 12 games in season (2018, 2023, 2024, 2025).
