At Hopkins: Co-captain  three-year starter on the Blue Jays[apos] attack  excellent shooter with the ability to dodge  more suited to JHU[apos]s new up-tempo style  possesses great athleticism and speed  has terrific stickwork and determination.
2002: Started the final 17 games after missing the season-opener due to an injury  finished fourth on the team with 24 goals and 34 points  ranked third with 55 ground balls  tied for third with 10 assists and tied for fourth with 15 draw controls  scored goals in 15 of 17 games  recorded hat tricks against Ohio, Hofstra and Harvard  scored a team-high four goals, including the game-winner, in JHU[apos]s 15-12 win at Hofstra on April 24  added team-highs of six ground balls and three caused turnovers vs. the Pride  led Hopkins with three goals and five points in the 9-8 loss to Harvard in the ECAC Championship on May 12  assisted on three goals in 15-6 win over Towson on May 1  scored two goals vs. Davidson and Villanova  ranked second in the conference with 3.24 ground balls per game.
2001: Started all but one game  scored 25 points, fourth highest on the team, on 18 goals and seven assists collected 51 ground balls and had 13 draw controls  had two goals and two assists against Davidson  scored two goals and one assist vs. Villanova and vs. Penn in the ECAC Finals also netted two goals against Brown, Richmond and Yale.
2000: Started every game as a freshman finished fourth on the team in scoring with 27 goals, 11 assists, and 38 points scored at least one point in 14 contests tallied a career-high six goals and a career-best three assists at Mount St. Mary[apos]s on March 15 netted four goals in two games, including five points versus American on April 5  selected as JHU[apos]s Rookie of the Year  had 35 ground balls  registered 11 draw controls.
Personal: Meghan M. Burnett  born November 5, 1980  daughter of Jim and Margaret Burnett  selected Central New York Player of the Year  led high school lacrosse league in scoring all four years and finished as its career leading scorer  three-time All-American  earned all-league and All-Central New York accolades  also played soccer and basketball at Auburn  sister, Molly, is a freshman on the team  father was an All-American lacrosse player at Cortland State  made Dean[apos]s List last spring  psychology major.
