- Named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.
- Saw action in all 11 games as a reserve quarterback and holder for place-kicks.

- Threw a 24-yard TD pass in JHU's 63-31 season-opening win against Randolph-Macon.
- Went 11-of-15 for 190 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 43 yards to account for 233 total yards in a 56-0 win at Juniata.
- Completed 4-of-8 attempts for 76 yards and one score and added 21 ruhsing yards in a 49-0 win over MIT in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs.
- Went 3-for-3 for 76 yards and led a late JHU touchdown drive in a 28-20 loss at top-ranked Mount Union in the NCAA Semifinals.

At Maine South
- Helped team to an 11-3 record and a state championship as a senior.
- Earned all-conference, all-state and academic all-state in final season at Maine South.
- Threw for 2,871 yards and 28 touchdowns and rushed for 1,116 yards and 13 scores as a senior.
- Guided team to a 9-2 record and the second round of the state playoffs as a junior.

- The son of Paul and Sharie Leongas.
- Has two younger siblings, Lexi and Luke.
- Uncle, Jerry Fontenot, played football at Texas A&M and was a third-round pick of the Chicago Bears. Played for the Bears from 1989-96, the New Orleans Saints from 1997-2003 and the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004. He later served as an assistant coach with the Green Bay Packers from 2006-15.
