2011: Started all 16 games on defense and totaled 17 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers  Just the fourth freshman to start season opener on defense under head coach Dave Pietramala (Chris Watson-2002, Matt Drenan-2006, Tucker Durkin-2010)  Key member of a defense that finished sixth in the nation in scoring defense (7.25)  Helped hold the opposition scoreless for a stretch of 14 minutes or longer 22 times and to one goal or less in 32 of 64 quarters on the year.
At Christian Brothers Academy: Four-year starter on close defense  All-America selection by Under Armour and US Lacrosse as a senior  Four-time first team all-conference, two-time first team all-section and two-time team captain in lacrosse  Also played three varsity seasons of football (RB, QB, LB)  Finished second on school[apos]s career rushing list, was the team offensive MVP in each of his three seasons and captained team as a senior  Starting center on state championship basketball team as a senior.
