Biography

2008: Played in all 17 games and had six goals and five assists on the year • Tied for sixth on the team with his five assists • Assisted on Michael Doneger[apos]s first goal of the game in the season-opener against Albany • Scored first goal of the season and added an assist against Syracuse and matched that effort with a goal and an assist against Virginia • Goal and assist against the Cavaliers both came in the fourth quarter as JHU erased a two-goal third-quarter deficit • Posted a career-high two assists against Duke and fueled the win over Loyola in the regular season finale with two goals, both of which came during a 6-0 second-half run that put the game away • Two goals tied his career high • Added the final goal in the 10-4 win over Navy in the NCAA Quarerfinals • Ignited a 4-0 run with an unassisted goal midway through the second quarter to fuel the 10-9 upset of top-seeded Duke in the NCAA Semifinals.

2007: Played in all 17 games with one start and anchored JHU[apos]s second midfield • Tallied 10 goals and added one assist to finish seventh on the team in goals and points • Showed steady improvement throughout the season with several key goals during JHU[apos]s season-ending nine-game winning streak • Scored once against UMBC and North Carolina and fired home a pair of goals in a 17-9 win at Syracuse • Scored a crucial third-quarter goal to give JHU a 6-5 lead at Maryland and added a third-quarter goal a week later against Navy to tie the game at 6-6 • Capped a 3-0 game-opening run in the regular-season-finale against Loyola and matched career high with two goals in the NCAA First Round victory against Notre Dame • Added one goal and one assist in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Georgetown.

2006: Played in all 14 games and started the last 11 (gained first career start against Hofstra) • Finished fifth on the team in points (16) and tied for fourth in goals (13) • Led all JHU freshmen in goals, assists (3) and points • Ended the season with 11-game goal and point-scoring streaks • The 11-game goal-scoring streak is the longest by a freshman midfielder at Johns Hopkins in the last 25 years • The goal and point-scoring streaks were the longest by any member of the team in 2006 • Jump-started 11-game run with one goal against Hofstra and added multi-point games against Syracuse (1g, 1a), North Carolina (2g, 1a) and Towson (1g, 1a) • Two goals against UNC are a career-high • Scored first career goal to cap a 5-1 run in the season-opener against Albany and capped an 8-1 game-opening run against Syracuse with his third goal of the year three weeks later • Ignited the 9-8 come-from-behind win over Navy with a goal just 92 seconds into the third quarter and added the game-winning goal just 1:22 into overtime against Loyola • Opened the scoring just 41 seconds into the 13-3 win over Penn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and added a first-quarter goal in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Syracuse.

At Springfield: Standout performer in lacrosse • Earned All-America, all-state, All-Delaware County and all-league honors at Springfield • Team[apos]s leading scorer as a senior, when he helped team to an undefeated league record • Also played one season of ice hockey.
