2006: First season as the Blue Jays[apos] late-inning specialist/closer • fourth in Centennial Conference relief appearances with 14 • made first career appearance in a game-two loss to Rutgers-Newark, with a hitless inning • struck out four in two innings of relief in a win over Messiah on March 8 • picked up his first career save with a hitless seventh in the Blue Jays[apos] game-one win over Misericordia on March 11 • struck out the side in a ninth-inning appearance against Keene State in Chandler, AZ on March 18 • shut the door on defending national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater in Phoenix on March 24, stopping a one-out, bases-loaded Warhawk rally in the seventh • added two more innings against UW-W, fanning four to wrap up his second save of the season • earned his first Centennial save in a game-two win over Haverford on April 15, striking out three in an inning and a third.
