Biography

At Hopkins: Elbow injury ended his season early last year • can also play second or third base • sound defensively with a lot of range • one of the team[apos]s top hitters • can hit for average and has plenty of power • enjoyed a great fall season • has decent running speed • very strong.

2003: Started 13 games and played in 15 overall • missed the final 22 games of the season due to injury • batted .227 (10-for-44) with 10 runs scored, two doubles, one home run and nine runs batted in • was 1-for-2 with two RBIs in a 9-0 win over Lakeland • went 2-for-3 with two runs and a home run against Ithaca on March 23 • was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs in the conference opener against Gettysburg on March 25.

2002: Named First Team All-Centennial • Started all 36 games in which he played • batted .333 and was third on the team with 42 hits in 126 at-bats • second on the team in RBIs (38), third in runs scored (36), tied for second with five home runs and led the team with three triples • was 4-for-5 with a three-run home run and four RBIs in a win over Villa Julie March 6 • went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBIs, and a two-run home run against SUNY-Brockport March 21 • collected four hits, four runs, and three RBIs in a 22-4 win over Gettysburg April 24 • drove in four runs with two singles in 8-4 win versus Kean in NCAA Tournament.

2001: Started one game and played in nine overall • batted .167 with two hits in 12 at-bats • also totaled one RBI and two walks • recorded his first career RBI in a 10-0 blanking of Washington College • went 1-for-1 with his first career hit in a 10-3 win over Haverford.

Personal: Also wrestled in high school • three-time all-state and all-conference selection for baseball • enjoys bow hunting and skeet shooting • lists winning the Centennial Conference Tournament as his greatest thrill as a member of the JHU baseball team • majoring in economics • plans on obtaining his masters degree in applied economics after graduation.
