Buckley brings over five years of coaching experience and a strong playing background at both the NCAA Division I and III levels. Most recently, he served as a Senior Pitching Instructor at TopGun Baseball, where he led the development of pitching prospects and instructed at Franklin & Marshall prospect camps.

Before transitioning to coaching, Buckley worked in sales and business development in Washington, D.C. As a student-athlete, he pitched four seasons at Franklin & Marshall, where he compiled a 13–7 career record in 30 appearances, including 26 starts. He earned 2019 ABCA All-Region and All-Centennial Conference honors before completing his playing career at the University of Richmond under Mulberg.

Buckley earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Franklin & Marshall and a Master's in Nonprofit Studies from the University of Richmond.
