- Member of the football, baseball and bowling teams.
- Earned First Team New Jersey All-State honors as a senior, when he totaled more than 2000 yards as a quarterback, wide receiver and running back.
- Had seven interceptions and hit 45-of-46 extra points as a senior while helping team to a 12-1 record and a New York State Championship.
- Second team all-league selection as a junior after accounting for more than 2,000 yards of total offense.
- Team finished 10-2 and advanced to the state semifinals during junior season.
- Honorable mention all-league pick on a team that went 12-1 and won state title during sophomore season.  Quarterbacked team in state title game after senior starter was lost to an injury (had been played DB and WR prior to that game).
- County champion in bowling.  High score prior to enrolling at Johns Hopkins was a 289.
- Three-year starter and all-county pick as a second baseman in baseball.
