In his first season as a member of the Blue Jay coaching staff is Tim Sternfeld, a 2017 graduate of nearby Stevenson University.  Sternfeld will coach the Johns Hopkins running backs in 2018.

Sternfeld spent the 2017 season as the tights and specialists coach at his alma mater.  He assisted the offensive staff with all facets of the program, including scouting reports, weekly game plans and practice plans.

Sternfeld was a Second Team All-MAC selection as a senior place-kicker for the Mustangs.  He finished his career 31-of-38 on field goals and graduated as Stevenson’s career point-scoring leader (195).

Sternfeld has served as an event coordinator and assistant director of media and public relations at the Manning Passing Academy, has worked for the Baltimore Brigade as the assistant director of player personnel and coached the kickers at nearby Franklin High School and at Ramapo High School (NJ).

 Sternfeld graduated from Stevenson with a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on business and a track in sports management.
