Gergen • born January 11, 1990 • son of Susan Whitman and Mark Gergen • National Merit finalist • played basketball and ran cross country • honorable mention all-district as a junior • named team MVP, second team all-district and academic all-state as a senior • placed third in the district and qualified for regionals in cross country • interned in the Physiology Department at JHMI in summer of 2011 • Dean's List student majoring in public health studies.
