Biography
2005-06: Named c-captain for 2006-07 2005-06 Second Team All-Centennial Conference On pace to break Hopkins[apos] career records for: free throws attempted, total rebounds and defensive rebounds Started in all 26 games became the fifth player in Hopkins[apos] history to pick up 600 career rebounds, eclipsing the mark on Feb. 11 at Ursinus became the 12th player in school history to score 1000 career points in the Centennial Conference Tournament Championship against Ursinus scored in double figures in 24 of Hopkins[apos] 26 games had five or more rebounds in all but two games posted eight double-doubles, with the last coming in a loss at Ursinus (14 points, 11 rebounds) named Centennial Conference Player of the Week (Dec. 6), after scoring 17.5 points per game in his first two conference outings (at Swarthmore and Muhlenberg) scoring leader over a stretch of four games between Nov. 26 and Dec. 6 named Blue Jay Invitational MVP for the second straight season after scoring a career-high 27 points (12-18 FG, 3-7 FT) in a win over Buffalo State.
2004-05: Appeared in 23 games, starting 14 shot 55 percent from the field, tops on the team and fifth in the Centennial Conference also led the team and third in CC in rebounds at 192, with 58 offensive boards his seven double-doubles were also best on the team in 2004-05 scored a then career-high 25 points in the season opener against Frostburg earned the Blue Jay Invitational Most Outstanding Player and Centennial Player of the Week after racking up 41 points, 24 rebounds and three assists in games against Frostburg and Keystone named to the Cal Tech Holiday Festival All-Tournament Team, scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds in the two games.
2003-04: Started 24 games and appeared in 25 total as a freshman broke the Hopkins[apos] single-season record for field goal percentage (.667, 138-of-207) Centennial Conference Honorable Mention selection second on the team with 13.5 points per game and shot 66.7 percent from the field, second best in Division III posted double-digit point totals in 19 of Hopkins[apos] 25 games, including five double-doubles tallied a season-high 24 points in a 68-62 win over Swarthmore his 18 rebounds at McDaniel on Jan. 21 were both a team and career high named to the all-tournament team at the Lopata Classic.
Personal: Daniel M. Nawrocki born March 31, 1985 son of Kathleen and Michael Nawrocki First Team All-New York State, First Team All-Long Island and a McDonald[apos]s All-American nominee as a senior at Chaminade helped lead his team to the New York State CHSAA Championship scored 1,170 career points in high school First Team All-Long Island in volleyball interned with Morgan Stanley in the Institutional Equity Division in summer 2006 majoring in economics with a business & entrepreneurship minor.
