2010: Played in just two games before suffering a knee injury that cost him the remainder of the season • Saw first action of the season against Princeton after sitting out the first three games of the season and scored a pair of goals, including one extra-man tally • Added two goals against UMBC in the first 18 minutes before leaving the game with the knee injury.
2009: Led the team in scoring with 28 goals and 18 assists for 46 points • 28 goals came on just 53 shots (.528) • Finished 28th in the nation in points per game (3.06), 36th in assists per game (1.2) and 44th in goals per game (1.87) • Had a 13-game point-scoring streak until being held scoreless in the final game of the season • Had nine multi-point games to his credit • Totaled 15 goals and 10 assists during JHU's seven-game winning streak late in the season • Enjoyed, at the time, the finest game of his career against Princeton with one goal and one assist • The goal and assist were both the first of his career • Built off the positive momentum of his effort against Princeton with a two-goal, three-assist showing against sixth-ranked UMBC - Had a hand in final four goals of a five-goal run that turned an 8-6 lead into a 13-6 advantage against the Retrievers • Totaled two goals and two assists at second-ranked Syracuse and came back with a six-goal, two-assist masterpiece against top-ranked Virginia (eight points were most by a Johns Hopkins player since Kyle Barrie had nine against Navy in 2003) - The six goals against Virginia equaled his previous career total • Fired home five goals on eight shots in the win over Albany, paced the win over Mount St. Mary's with two goals and a career-high four assists and added three assists in the regular-season-ending win against Loyola • Ignited JHU's 12-11 overtime win over Brown in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with five goals and two assists for seven points • Five goals are the most ever by a JHU player in a first round NCAA game and the seven points are just one shy of the school record for most points in a tournament game • Five goals came on just six shots.

At Boys' Latin: Four-year letterwinner in lacrosse • Totaled 123 goals and 175 assists during his career, including 36 goals and 61 assists as a junior and 35 goals and 71 assists as a senior • Three-time All-American and three-time All-Metro selection • Guided team to back-to-back MIAA "A" Championships as a junior and senior • Squad posted a 19-2 record in 2005 and a perfect 21-0 record in 2006.

Boland • The son of Kevin and Susan Boland • Born April 21, 1987 • Older brother, Kevin, graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2004 and was a three-time All-American midfielder for the Blue Jays - he finished his career as JHU's career leader in assists among midfielders (82) and helped the Blue Jays to the 2003 NCAA title game • Father, Kevin, played lacrosse at Maryland, was a member of the Terps' 1973 NCAA Championship Team and earned Third Team All-America honors as a senior • Anthropology major.
