Winston Earle joined the Johns Hopkins men's soccer coaching staff in 1992. 

He began his coaching career in 1977 for the Bay College of Maryland and later set numerous junior college coaching records as the head coach at Baltimore Community College from 1980 to 1982.

Earle moved to Division I the following season, serving as the head coach at Morgan State in 1983 and 1984, and at Coppin State from 1984 to 1986.

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Earle was a standout player at Division I Santos in Jamaica.
