This Season: Leading contender to take over for 2004 All-American Corey Harned as the starting long-stick defensive midfielder Has the ability to play close defense as well and could see time there.
2004: Played in all 15 games as the second pole in JHU[apos]s defensive rotation helped lead a Johns Hopkins defense that finished ninth in the nation in scoring defense (7.67 goals/game) and held 13 of 15 opponents to less than 10 goals Had three ground balls on the year.
2003: Saw the most extensive playing time of his career to date after losing the 2001 and most of the 2002 seasons to injury Played in 12 games and had one ground ball to his credit.
2002: Played in two games as a reserve defenseman after battling back from a knee injury Had suffered a torn ACL just prior to the 2001 season and missed the entire fall leading into the 2002 season.
2001: Suffered a season-ending knee injury in the preseason Did not appear in any games and retained freshman eligibility.
At Corning East: Three-sport letterwinner who excelled in football, basketball and lacrosse Earned All-America honors in lacrosse and was selected the top defender in the conference as a junior and senior Helped lead team to three sectional titles and an appearance in the state championship as a junior Also garnered all-conference honors from several local papers in football as a junior and senior.
