Assists bookended the season with one in the opener against Siena and one in the season-finale at Army.
Key member of Johns Hopkins defense that ranked third nationally in scoring defense (7.79).
2012: Played in 11 games as a short stick defensive midfielder Earned significantly more playing time as the season progressed Had one ground ball on the year and helped Johns Hopkins finish seventh in the nation in scoring defense (7.38).
2011: Played in three games but did not register any statistics Saw first action of career in an 18-5 win at Delaware.
At Woodberry Forest: Played lacrosse, football and basketball at Woodberry Forest Two-time all-prep selection in lacrosse and twice guided team to the playoffs All-state selection in football.
Personal: James R. Malm The son of Bob and Leslie Malm Born October 2, 1991 Father, Bob, played lacrosse at North Carolina and later coached at Yale Political science major with a minor in entrepreneurship and management.
