Did You Know: Lou Braun helped lead his Upper Arlington High School football team to a prestigious Big School state championship • His father played football at Ohio State and his brother played football at Miami of Ohio.

2004: One-third of JHU[apos]s primary faceoff trio • Helped JHU finish seventh in the nation in faceoff winning percentage as a team (.588) • Won 59-of-108 (.546) faceoffs on the year and had 24 ground balls • Ended the season strong as he won 38-of-65 (.585) faceoffs and had 19 ground balls in his last six games • Enjoyed one of the finest games of his career in a 10-9 overtime victory at second-ranked Navy • Won 10-of-12 faceoffs and grabbed four ground balls and first career assist in the thrilling win over the Midshipmen in front of over 18,000 fans • Won 9-of-12 faceoffs and had four ground balls in a 13-8 win over Towson the week after the win over Navy • Injured during second quarter of NCAA Semifinal game against Syracuse • SU dominated the faceoffs after he left the game.
2003: Key member of JHU[apos]s three-man faceoff rotation • Won 67-of-112 (.598) faceoffs on the year and helped JHU finish fourth in the nation in faceoff winning percentage as a team (.600) • Enjoyed one of the finest games of his career against Syracuse in the NCAA Semifinals as he won 9-of-15 faceoffs and grabbed three ground balls in the 19-8 victory • Won 5-of-8 in the second half, when JHU outscored the Orangemen, 13-1 • Finished eighth on the team with 26 ground balls.
2002: Saw action in 13 of 14 games as JHU[apos]s number two faceoff specialist • Won 49-of-99 (.495) faceoffs and grabbed 19 ground balls on the year • Won 11-of-15 faceoffs and controlled a career-high six ground balls against fourth-ranked Virginia • Won 8-of-12 faceoffs against Villanova, 4-of-7 against Maryland and 3-of-4 against UMass in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
At Upper Arlington: Standout performer in football and lacrosse • Earned All-Ohio and All-Midwest honors • Named the Midwest Tournament MVP as a junior • Twice led team to state and midwest runner-up finishes.
