- Grandfather, Paul Westhead, served as the head basketball coach of the Los Angeles Lakers (1979-81), Chicago Bulls (1982-83) and Denver Nuggets (1990-92) in the NBA and at Loyola Marymount (1985-90) and George Mason (1993-97).  He also served as a head coach in the WNBA and led the Phoenix Mercury to the league title in 2007.  Coupled with his NBA title with the Lakers in 1980, was the first head coach to win NBA and WNBA titles.
