Biography

2008: Played in 16 games (missed game vs. UNC with an injury) with nine starts - moved up to the first midfield in the win against Maryland • Had four goals and five assists on the year • Assisted on a fourth-quarter Kevin Huntley goal that jump-started a 3-0 game-ending run in the season-opener against Albany • Matched career-high with two points on a goal and assist against Hofstra • Scored one goal against Virginia - a fourth-quarter tally that ignited a 4-2 spurt that gave JHU a late 12-11 lead • Fueled a 6-1 third-quarter run in the win over Maryland with one goal and one assist during the spree and added one goal and one assist during a 5-0 second-half run against Navy • Two-point efforts against Maryland and Navy matched his career high • Added one assist against Mount St. Mary[apos]s.

2007: Key member of JHU[apos]s second midfield • Played in all 17 games and totaled five goals, five assists, 12 ground balls and one game-winning goal • Scored goals in early-season games against Albany and UMBC before matching career-high with two points on one goal and one assist in a 17-9 win at Syracuse • Had a career-best six-game point-scoring streak late in the season with assists in wins over Navy, Towson, Mount St. Mary[apos]s and Notre Dame and goals against Loyola and Georgetown • Goal against the Hoyas was his first in an NCAA Tournament game and ignited a 6-0 run that gave JHU a 6-1 lead • GU was never closer than four the rest of the way.

2006: Played in 13 games with one start • Key member of Johns Hopkins[apos] second midfield and one of five freshmen to play in 13 or more games on the year • Registered three goals and one assist on the year with first career points (one goal and one assist) coming against Hofstra • Also scored goals in wins over North Carolina and Mount St. Mary[apos]s • Added a career-high three ground balls against Mount St. Mary[apos]s.

At Niskayuna: Member of the lacrosse and soccer teams • Two-time All-America selection in lacrosse as he guided his team to a Section 2 Championship and the state title game as a senior • Finished career as the all-time leading scorer in Section 2 history with 340 career points • Tallied over 100 points as a junior (103) and senior (133) • Three-time first team all-area pick in lacrosse and the 2005 Section 2 Player-of-the-Year • Also garnered first team all-area honors in soccer once.
