At Duxbury: Three-year varsity letter winner • Helped team to a 64-7 record with back-to-back state championships in final two seasons • Grabbed all-league honors as a senior, when he was also selected as the team's co-defensive MVP and named a US Lacrosse All-American • Standout quarterback for football team • Led team to consecutive state championships and was named the Boston Globe and Boston Herald Player of the Year as a senior • Honored by the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation with one of its High School Scholar Athlete Awards.
