2004: Second Team STX/USILA All-American Started all 15 games on close defense to run his consecutive games started streak to 31 Leader of a Johns Hopkins defense that finished ninth in the nation in scoring defense (7.67 goals/game) and held 13 of 15 opponents to less than 10 goals Unit held six opponents to six goals or less, including four straight early in the season Had a career-high 24 ground balls on the year.
2003: Made the move to close defense after playing freshman year as a long stick defensive midfielder Started all 16 games and earned a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team after helping the Blue Jays allow just 25 goals in four NCAA Tournament games Anchored a defense that finished third in the nation in scoring defense (6.94) and second in man-down defense (40-of-47 man-down opportunities killed / .851) Hopkins held 14 of its 16 opponents to less than 10 goals and seven of its last 10 opponents were held to six goals or less Had 18 ground balls on the year.
2002: Played in all 14 games and shared the long-stick defensive midfield position with Corey Harned Had nine ground balls on the season and saw increased playing time as the season wore on Helped JHU defense allow an average of just 8.43 goals per game.
At Garden City: Participated in lacrosse, football and indoor track Garnered All-America honors and was the conference and county defensive player of the year as a senior Helped lead team to the 2000 New York State Championship and the 2000 Long Island Championship.
