First Day at Johns Hopkins:
August 1st, 2024
Chris Pospisil joined the Blue Jay swim staff in August 2024. He came to Homewood from from the Eagle Swim Club in Baltimore, where he was an assistant to the National Team Training Group, Senior Performance Group and Senior Group.

Pospisil has coached a combined 40 All-Americans in his two seasons with the Blue Jays. The JHU men won the 2026 Centennial Conference Championship, the program's first conference title since 2005. The JHU women finished as the runner-up, by a margin of just 15.5 points out of first. 

Prior to his time with the Eagles, Pospisil was an assistant coach at Desert Mountain High School and the Scottsdale Aquatic Club in Scottsdale, AZ. He also had assistant coaching stints at the University of South Dakota and College of Saint Mary.
 
Pospisil earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in Kinesiology and Sport Management from South Dakota. He was a member of the Coyotes' swim team from 2015 to 2019 and was a two-time captain.
