John Wilson returned to his alma mater in 2019 to serve as an assistant for the Blue Jay water polo program.

Wilson is a 2018 graduate of Johns Hopkins and was a three-time All-American on the water polo team. He is the only three-time All-American goalie in program history and is one just seven players overall to do so.

Wilson is the program's all-time career (902), season (373) and game (25) saves leader. He also ranks 11th in program history with 137 career steals. Wilson led Hopkins to 56 wins in his career, including a pair of CWPA Division III Championships and a runner-up finish at both the CWPA Southern and Eastern Championships.
