Statistically Speaking: Ranks fourth in school history in career points (269) tied for 12th in goals (150) third in assists (119).
2013: Captain named to CWPA DIII All-Tournament Team led team in goals (62), assists (62) and points (124) 124 points are third highest total in school history also had 36 steals, 12 ejections drawn and 13 blocks notched at least one point in all but one game had 22 multi-point games scored a then season-high five goals and seven points in win over Gannon had a hat trick in win over Diablo Valley had back-to-back five-point (3g, 2a) games versus Princeton and Bucknell tied school record with seven assists versus Navy on September 22 scored six goals and seven points in win over eighth-ranked La Verne scored five goals and seven points against Monmouth (IL) handed out five assists in win over Connecticut College tied school record with 14 points and broke school record with nine goals versus Washington & Jefferson followed with seven points (3g, 4a) in over MIT and nine points (4g, 5a) against George Washington.
2012: named to CWPA DIII All-Tournament Team set then school-record with six assists versus Washington & Jefferson on September 15 totaled 54 goals, 30 assists 43 steals and 20 ejections drawn ranked fourth on the team in goals and steals and fifth in points (84) scored at least one point in all but three games had a 22-point scoring streak mid-way through the season scored a then career-high four goals in win over Lindenwood followed with five points (3g, 2a) versus Gannon and four goals against Mount San Antonio totaled a then career-high nine points (3g, 6a) versus Washington & Jefferson scored a career high six goals in win over Notre Dame (OH) totaled six points (3g, 3a) in win over George Washington.
2011: Named to CWPA DIII All-Tournament Team totaled 34 goals, 27 assists and 61 points also added 38 steals and a team-high 16 blocks 61 points were, at the time, the second most by a freshman in school history (now third) set then school record for assists by a freshman (27) tallied at least one point in eight straight games to start career had at least one point in 27 (of 33) matches totaled a season-high seven points (3g, 4a) in win over Iona tied season high with three goals in win over Gannon.
Personal: John 'Wes' Hopkins son of John and Lena Hopkins led team to back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior led team to state championship as a senior named first team All-Pennsylvania, First Team All-American and Pennsylvania Player of the Year as a senior majoring in public health with a minor in earth and planetary science.
