Biography

Britni Lonesome joins the Johns Hopkins coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach after a four-year playing career under coach Funk from 2006-2010. Lonesome will work primarily with the development of the Blue Jays[apos] guards this season. In her four seasons as a guard at Hopkins, Lonesome played in 91 games and earned 32 starts. She compiled 432 points, 101 rebounds, 62 assists and 53 steals in her career. Lonesome started 16 contests for the Blue Jays last season and averaged a career-best 6.4 points per game. Hopkins posted a 55-44 record in her four years on the squad, including a Centennial Conference championship game appearance in her junior year and a conference playoff berth last season. Lonesome is a 2010 graduate of Johns Hopkins and is currently pursuing a masters degree in engineering management at JHU.
