Biography

2010-11: Named to All-Centennial First Team • made 58 three-pointers, the second-highest single-season total in school history • averaged 11.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game • second on the team assists (96), minutes (928) and steals (48) • led the team in three-pointers made with 58 and free throw percentage, shooting .935 (58/62) • handed out at least one assist in every game • totaled 326 points on the season • led the team in steals in six different games • led the team in assists in 16 games, most on the team • had a season-high 24 points against Muhlenberg.

2009-10: Saw time in 25 games, starting eight • averaged 5.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game • second on team in assists (53), steals (42), three pointers made (28) and minutes played (22.8 per game) • notched career-highs of 19 points and five steals against Swarthmore • recorded 13 points and season high five assists against Gettysburg.

2008-09: Played in all 27 games with 11 starts • averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds and added 29 assists and 16 steals • led all freshmen in minutes played (517) • totaled six points or more six times with a season-high 14 points against Bryn Mawr • was 5-for-5 from the field, including 4-for-4 from 3-point range, in the win against the Owls • totaled seven points and a season-best eight rebounds in a 64-45 win at Gettysburg.

High School: Four-time all-area selection with second team honors as a sophomore and junior and first team honors as a senior • also named to the area all-academic team • Guided team to the district semifinals • two-year letterwinner in field hockey as well.

Personal: Chantel A. Mattiola • daughter of Robert and Cheryl Mattiola • born June 28, 1990 • father, Robert, played football at Delaware • grandfather, Ralph, played football at Franklin & Marshall and is a member of the F&M Athletic Hall of Fame • student assistant in the Johns Hopkins Department of Athletics • majoring in international relations.
