In addition to his duties as the Coordinator of Business Development and Sports Operations, Chris Suarez joined the Johns Hopkins women's basketball staff as an assistant coach in the Fall of 2023. Suarez most recently served as the Championship Assistant for the Big East Conference for the 2019-20 season where he was tasked with the planning, implementation and recap of conference championships for select sports.
A native of New York, NY, Suarez brings past coaching experience having served as a team manager for Daemen College's women's basketball program in 2018 and an assistant coach at Queen's College in 2019. He has most recently worked in marketing for the Fordham University women's basketball team during the 2019-20 season.
Suarez graduated from Daemen University with a B.S. in business administration and sports management, earning his master's in sports management, leadership and coaching from St. John's University shortly after.
