Grace Williamson

Grace Williamson enters her second season as an assistant coach on Katherine Bixby's staff. Williamson comes to Homewood after coaching stints at Goucher and Pitt-Bradford.

In her one season at Pitt-Bradford in 2014-15, Williamson helped guide the Panthers to a 17-8 record and a trip to the AMCC semifinals; she then spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at nearby Goucher.

Williamson was a standout Division III player at Alfred College and SUNY-Cortland. In her two seasons as a Saxon, she scored 580 points and earned honorable mention Empire 8 All-Conference recognition in 2011-12 while averaging a team-high 14.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.

She finished out her collegiate playing career at SUNY-Cortland where she eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, scoring 468 points in her two seasons as a Red Dragon. As a team captain her senior year, she was named Third-Team All-Conference by the State University of New York Athletic Conference, and was also selected to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team. Williamson averaged 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game that season, and she additionally led the team with 23 blocks.

Williamson graduated from SUNY-Cortland in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and obtained her master's degree at Goucher in Athletic Program Leadership and Administration.
