Kate Dellinger

    Assistant Coach

Dellinger will assist the Blue Jays with guard development, practice and game planning and video analysis and exchanges within the Centennial Conference in addition to increasing Johns Hopkins women’s basketball’s social media visibility.

Dellinger comes to JHU from Widener University, where she played four years of basketball before working as an assistant coach for three years. As an assistant at Widener, Dellinger was the recruiting coordinator. She also assisted in guard development, fundraising and team promotion for the Pride.

Dellinger garnered many individual accolades for her performance on the court and off at Widener. Dellinger finished her playing career as a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, two-time honorable mention WBCA All-American and two-time D3 Hoops All-Mid-Atlantic Region. As a senior, the guard was a 2013 Jostens Trophy Finalist, 2013 MAC Woman of the Year Nominee and The Philadelphia Inquirer 2013 Women’s Athletic Performer of the Year. The Philadelphia Inquirer honored Dellinger as a two-time Academic All-Area Performer of the Year and a three-time member of the Academic All-Area Team. Dellinger was also named the MAC Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year in 2012 and a three-time First Team All-Commonwealth team member.

A native of York, PA, Dellinger is a 2013 graduate of Widener University and has a master’s degree in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania.
