Biography

At Hopkins: Very fast and physical midfielder who will start for the Blue Jays •hard to stop while at full speed • has a very hard shot with both hands • a force offensively and defensively • emotional player.

2003: Appeared in all 16 games and started nine • ranked third on the team with 23 goals, eight assists and 31 points • scored goals in all but three games • scored three goals and added two assists for a career-high five points in the 14-7 win over Northwestern on March 28 • had three goals and an assist in the 15-10 victory at American on April 23 • scored three goals on April 30 in the 12-5 win at Towson • recorded two goals and an assist in the 15-4 victory over George Washington on April 25 • also had two goals against No. 2 Duke, No. 20 Vanderbilt, and George Mason.

2002: Appeared in all 18 games with 14 starts • finished sixth on the team with 11 goals and 12 points • recorded first career hat trick against No. 6 Cornell, scoring three goals in a 1:38 span during the second half • scored second of her two goals to start a second half rally in the 11-10 win over No. 13 Ohio State on April 6 • scored two goals apiece vs. William & Mary and Ohio • also scored goals against Villanova and George Mason • lone assist came on March 30 in 14-8 win at Richmond • collected a season-high four ground balls vs. Ohio and Northwestern.

2001: Appeared in all five games before suffering an ACL injury against Mount St. Mary[apos]s that caused her to miss the rest of the season • scored two goals and added four assists • recorded one goal and one assist in the Lehigh and Mount St. Mary[apos]s games • also notched assists against American and William & Mary.

Barcomb • born January 23, 1982 • daughter of Peter and Daphne Jensen • named Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year for Middlebury • played on four lacrosse championship teams • also participated in field hockey and basketball • earned all-state field hockey and lacrosse attack player of the year honors as a senior • two-time all-county selection in field hockey • public health major.
