First Day at Johns Hopkins: July 1, 2015


Lagaz joined the Johns Hopkins Sports Medicine staff in 2015. Her primary coverage is with the women’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s cross country teams. The Blue Jay women's lacrosse team made the NCAA Final Four for the first time in program Division I history in 2026. The women's cross country team won NCAA titles in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022 and the volleyball team went undefeated en route to the national championship in 2019. 

Lagaz also oversees the Johns Hopkins team physician clinic win the athletic training room. She previously worked with the Blue Jay volleyball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track & field teams.

Lagaz completed a graduate assistantship at McDaniel College and worked with the field hockey, volleyball, football, cross country, women's basketball, softball and men's and women's lacrosse programs. She graduated with a master's degree in exercise science and physical education in 2015. Lagaz graduated from Towson University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. While with the Tigers, she assisted with men's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, volleyball and football. She also completed a rotation at McDonogh in the fall of 2011, working with football, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, basketball and wrestling. 

Lagaz is NATABOC certified as well as Blood Flow Rehabilitation certified through Owens Recovery Science. She currently lives in Essex, MD with her golden retriever Charlee.
