Andrew Greenhalgh returned to his alma mater in October 2019 to join head coach Scott Armstrong's staff.
Greenhalgh graduated as one of the most decorated swimmers in program history. He won national championships in the 500 Free (2015, 2016) and the 1650 Free (2016) and earned All-America honors 12 times. In addition, he was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American and earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

Greenhalgh still holds school records in the 500 Free (4:19.66), 1000 Free (9:06.37) and 1650 Free (15:02.34). In fact, he boasts the eight fastest times in school history in the 500 Free, the 10 fastest times in the 1000 and nine of the 10 fastest in the 1650 Free. He also holds JHU freshmen records in the 1000 Free (9:13.13) and 1650 Free (15:12.98).
Greenhalgh graduated in 2017 with degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology and History of Science and Technology.
