Biography

2016: Appeared in every match for Johns Hopkins, playing in 101 sets • Contributed 37 assists and 31 service aces in her first collegiate season • Also recorded 222 digs, including 27 as the libero in JHU's regular season finale against Gettysburg.

High School: Participated in beach volleyball and diving at Harvard-Westlake • also played club volleyball for Lava South for three years and Sunshine for four years. 

Personal: Genevieve Thomas • daughter of Thomas and Helen Thomas • has one sister, Leila • father wrestled for UCLA and the All-Army wrestling team • worked as an internet radio DJ and talk show host for her high school • also enjoys filmmaking • National Merit finalist.
