- Won both of his matches at the Scotty Wood Duals and went 2-2 at Etown's Blue Jay Classic; three of his four wins in those two tournaments came by fall.
- Ended season in a six-match winning streak with one pin and three technical falls among his six wins.

- Finished with a 5-9 record with two pins, one technical fall and one major decision to his credit.
- Picked up first win of the season at the Racich Rumble with a first-period pin of Bill Liu Trinity (CT) (2:48)
- Went 3-2 at the Shenandoah Invitational to place fourth.  Scored a win by fall, a major and a regular decision to fuel his fourth-place showing.
