First Day at Johns Hopkins: July 2, 2026
Justin Flack joined the Johns Hopkins staff as an assistant women's soccer coach in the summer of 2026 as he took over for Greg Ridout, who had served as head coach Dan Weiler's top assistant since he arrived as the head coach at Johns Hopkins in 2020.
Flack came to Homewood from Augsburg University, where he had served as an assistant coach with the women's soccer program since July 2023. He helped guide the Auggies to a three-year record of 29-17-10, including a 14-9-10 mark in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), with two trips to the MIAC Semifinals.
As an assistant coach, Flack had a hand in all aspects of the Augsburg program, including recruiting, game and practice planning, opponent scouting and player development.
In addition to his three-year tenure as an assistant coach at Augsburg, Flack served as the Academy Director with the Tonka United Soccer Association (Nov. 2022 – Feb. 2025) and also served in a variety of capacities with the Minnesota United Academy, Fusion Soccer Club, Blaine Soccer Club and the Tri City Storm Soccer Club.
Flack holds his USSF "B" Coaching License from US Soccer and his UEFA "B" License from the Scottish Football Association. He also received his Premier Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association in 2023.
Flack is a 2015 graduate of Concordia Moorhead, where he graduated cum laude with degrees in creative writing and Psychology. At Concordia, he was a three-time Academic All-MIAC selection and a four-year starter on defense for the Cobbers (2011-14). Flack played in 72 career games with eight assists to his credit and was twice an Honorable Mention All-MIAC selection (2012, 2014). He played his first season at Concordia under Weiler, who served as the men's coach there from 2007-11.
