Naz Karagoz Hill joined the Johns Hopkins women's tennis staff in August 2026. She came to Homewood after a three-year stint at Washington College. 

Karagoz Hill joined the WC staff in the fall of 2023 as an assistant for both the men’s and women’s programs. One year later, she was promoted to associate head coach. She helped the Shoremen to a pair of Centennial Conference Tournament appearances and coached eight All-CC selections, including the 2025 CC Rookie of the Year. On the women’s side, Karagoz Hill coached five all-conference selections while helping the team to the CC Tournament three times.  
 
Karagoz Hill played three seasons at Tulane University, earning All-American Athletic Conference honors in her freshman campaign. She was the Green Wave’s number one singles as a sophomore and junior. She then transferred to Norfolk State for a graduate year with the Spartans and became the program’s first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Year. She led Norfolk State to its first-ever MEAC Northern Division regular season title.
 
Karagoz Hill has competed on the professional tour, reaching a career-high of 966 WTA singles ranking and a career-high ITF World Junior singles ranking of 269. She also played with the Turkish National Team. Karagoz Hill earned a bachelor’s degree in management & marketing from Tulane and a master’s degree in mass communication & public relations from Norfolk State. She is married to BJ Hill, Johns Hopkins football defensive coordinator.
