He played an integral role in the success of the women’s track and field team, which captured six individual Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) titles and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women’s Indoor Team Championship.

Before his time at Towson, Brown spent three seasons (2021-24) as the head coach at SUNY Delhi, where he mentored five All-Americans, the 2022 men's 100-meter national runner-up and three USTFCCCA Regional Track Athletes of the Year.
