Jake Lee joined the Johns Hopkins Athletics staff in July 2017 as the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship. Before coming to Homewood, Lee worked at the University of Pittsburgh and for the Altoona Curve.
 
In his position Lee is responsible for generating new relationships and maintaining existing relationships with corporate partners. He helps generate revenue for the athletic department through marketing, ticket sales, promotions and sponsorships. Lee redesigned the sponsorship deck and currently handles the entire sales process from prospecting to activation. He also serves as the sport liaison for men's basketball. 

Lee develops the annual marketing plan for all 24 Blue Jay varsity athletic teams. He prepares all in-game activations and promotions on game day, working with a staff of 3-5 student workers and interns. In addition, he creates internal partnerships within the University to enhance game day experiences with events such as student tailgates, faculty and staff appreciation and pep rallies (Blue Jay Opening Day). 
 
Lee has assisted in the introduction of group sales packages for athletic events such as the ‘Team of the Game’ and post-game scrimmages at Hopkins lacrosse games. He also developed and maintains the Junior Jays and WING kids' club programs. 
 
A 2014 graduate of Robert Morris University, Lee has degrees in Sports Management and Marketing. He resides in Halethorpe, MD with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Caroline.
