Callahan Becomes All-Time Winningest Coach with 3-1 Win

LEXINGTON, VA - Senior Jamie Zubrow (Wilmington, DE/Brandywine) scored to goals to lead Johns Hopkins (3-4) to a 3-1 upset win over #16 Catholic Saturday afternoon. With the win, head coach Megan Callahan surpasses Sally Beth Anderson as the all-time winningest coach in Hopkins field hockey history. Callahan's record now stands at 108-76 (.587). She joins nine other current Blue Jays head coaches who are the winningest in their program's history.

Zubrow opened the scoring at 9:36 with her first of the game, giving Hopkins the early 1-0 lead. That goal would stand until ninety seconds into the second half, when she would score her second of the afternoon and third of the season. Sophomore Adair Landy (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) assisted on the goal.

Jayme Dinsmore scored with just over 20 minutes to play, cutting the Blue Jays' lead to just one. But with 8:33 to go, Hopkins got an insurance goal from sophomore Katie Wong (Los Angeles, CA/Harvard-Westlake).

Senior goalie Dayna Eng (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) made two saves in earning the win. Irene Jordan played 61:27 in goal and made seven saves. Marian Cassilly played the final 8:33 in goal.
