Johns Hopkins Field Hockey Camps and Clinics are led by head coach Jane Wells and associate head coach James Albanese, with the support of several current players. In 2025, the Blue Jays made their seventh consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Championship game for the fourth time in the last five seasons. Wells and her staff led Hopkins to a 22-2 record and the program's seventh straight Centennial Conference Tournament title. The staff was named the NFHCA Region V Coaching Staff of the Year for the fifth straight season and sixth time in the last seven seasons.
In Wells' eight seasons, she has guided the Blue Jays to a 155-24 (.866) record, seven Centennial Conference Tournament titles and six trips to the NCAA Final Four. She is also an impressive 77-3 (.963) in the Centennial Conference. Hopkins has produced 39 All-Centennial Conference selections, 35 NFHCA All-Region selections and 17 NFHCA All-Americans. In addition, JHU has produced two Centennial Conference Offensive Players of the Year, four Defensive Players of the Year and six NFHCA Regional Players of the Year. Wells became the 10th active coach in NCAA Division III to reach 300 career wins on October 25 with a 2-0 win over Haverford.Â
