A short time later, 23rd-ranked Eastern added a sweep of its own against the Blue Jays. With the losses, Johns Hopkins slips to 11-7 overall, while the loss to the Fords dropped the Blue Jays to 0-2 in the Centennial.

The Blue Jays stayed in the game with a 6-0 run to make it a 24-22 game. But a Blue Jay error would give the Fords a 25-22 win to take a 2-0 lead in the match. Haverford jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the third game and did not look back in a 25-12 win.
