SALISBURY, MD - The Johns Hopkins volleyball team defeated Goucher, 3-0, Saturday morning. With the win the Blue Jays finished third in the Sea Gull Invitational, and push their record to 11-4, while the Gophers fall to 7-7 on the season.

Junior Brittany Zimmer (Melville, NY) led the Blue Jays in kills (nine) and digs (nine), while Kristen Kozielski (Columbia, MD) dished out a season-high 13 assists. Allison Cappelaere (Ellicott City, MD) and Becky Paynter (Columbia, MD) added eight digs a piece.

Senior Alex Zenoff (San Francisco, CA) earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, September 30 when the Blue Jays host Dickinson in their Centennial Conference opener.
