ORLANDO, FL- The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team came in fourth place of 25 teams at the Disney Classic on Saturday. Louis Levine was the first Blue Jay to cross the finish line, doing so in 25:49.

The race was open to college teams across all divisions, JHU finished first among Division III squads and beat multiple Division I teams, as well. Youngstown St. took home the team title, while Tiffin's James Ngandu finished in 24:37.30 to win the individual crown.

The Blue Jay runners focused on packing during the 8,000m race and did well, as less than 30 seconds separated their top five. Following Levine across the finish line for JHU was Ollie Hickson, Ryan Schwartz, Brandon Fielder and Akshay Alaghatta.

"We definitely focused on packing better, something we've failed to do well these last few weeks," said Head Coach Bobby Van Allen. "We had our tightest spread of the year at 22 seconds between our top five, which will definitely help us as we approach championship season."

JHU will have one more tune up before the Centennial Conference Championships on October 31.. The squad will head to New Jersey next Saturday for the Rowan Invitational.
