? The Short Story: The visiting Muhlenberg field hockey team scored the game's only goal in the 19th minute to beat Johns Hopkins, 1-0, in Centennial Conference action Saturday night. The Blue Jays fall to 1-1 in the league and 4-4 overall while the Mules remain unbeaten (3-0) in the CC.

How it Happened
? Sophomore Greta Helvie came out to the top of the circle to break up a fast-break opportunity for the Mules a little over four minutes in. just over a minute later, junior Shannon Cosgrove made a defensive save on the left post on Laura Holdman to keep the game scoreless.
? Muhlenberg broke the scoreless tie with 18:41 to play in the first half as the Mules capitalized on a corner. Stephi Rydgren took the corner, sending the ball up top to Emily Boyle, who banged home a shot inside the left post.
? The Blue Jays had two great chanced with 23 minutes to play in the game off a corner. Senior Kiana Duncan ripped a shot off the corner that Emma Rosenthal stopped. The ball went right to senior Natalie Vicas who fired from close range, but a diving Rosenthal blocked the shot.

? Johns Hopkins is now 18-7 all-time against Muhlenberg, which has now won back-to-back games in the series for the first time since 2009.
