Coach's Corner
• Head coach Tim Cole: "Today's outcome is primarily the result of our cumulative training atmosphere. Juniata did some things that we don't see in our gym, and we didn't handle it well. They also werea touch more physical than us."
• On Esther Hong: "Esther Hond played some very nice defense tonight. As a team we started to show some of the relentlessness I expect to be our signature."
On Louisa Kishton: "Lulu Kishton saw how close she is to being strong in all phases of the game. I she ups her work ethic in order to get there and beyond."
On Kristi Rhead: "Kristi Rhead ran a pretty effective offense, especially considering how strong Juniata's block and defense are. We just have to be better across the board."
On facing Southwestern (TX) and Christopher Newport tomorrow: "I'm excited to see how we handle all these hours on the bus in conjuntion with strong competition tomorrow."
On the outlook for the season: "There is enough time in the season for this team to make a significant upgrade to its attitude, discipline and expectations."
