The Basics
• Score: Johns Hopkins-5, Bryn Mawr-0
• Records: JHU (7-8, 3-5 CC) • BMC (0-14, 0-9 CC)
• Location: Baltimore, MD • Homewood Field
• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins field hockey team got goals from five different goal scorers in a 5-0 win over visiting Bryn Mawr Saturday night.

How it Happened
• On a night where the Blue Jays honored their eight seniors prior to the game, it was a pair of seniors that combined for what proved to be the game-winning goal. Abby Grant sent a pass across the face of the goal and Bridget Hampton buried it at the left post at the 6:35-mark.
• Just 72 seconds later, the Blue Jays had a two-goal lead, thanks to a pair of juniors. Off a Hopkins' corner, Francesca Cali passed the ball to Amy Hallowell on the right side of the circle. She scored on a hard shot to the left corner.
• Hopkins made it a three-goal game at 10:10 when junior Clare Kavanagh got her team-leading sixth of the season. Off another Blue Jay corner, freshman Katie McErlean fired a shot from the near side and Kavanagh tipped it around Owls' goalie Angela Meng at the post.
• After a turnover in the Bryn Mawr end, sophomore Claire Fox took a pass from junior Princess Sutherland and sent it wide left to senior Austin Davis. She collected the pass and fired a hard shot between Meng and the left post to put Hopkins on top 4-0 at 18:38.
• Hopkins closed out the scoring at 45:16 off another corner. Senior Lindsey Adams took Kavanagh's insert, and passed inside to Fox. She collected the ball, dribbled around a defender and then slotted a shot inside the left post.

What it Means
• Johns Hopkins is now 23-0-1 all-time against Bryn Mawr, including 20-0 under head coach Megan Callahan.
• The Blue Jays keep their hopes for a Centennial Conference playoff berth alive with the win. Hopkins currently sits in a tie for seventh, one win behind Haverford and Gettysburg, which are tied for the fifth and final playoff spot.
