How it Happened
? The Diplomats got on the board at the 21:01-mark with the first of Emily Nagle's two goals on the night. ? Franklin & Marshall turned that one-goal lead into a four-goal lead in a nine-minute span early in the second half. Melanie Consiglio sparked the run when she scored off a pass from Sydney Cole at 40:51. Consiglio then assisted on Nagle's second goal, a deflection at the left post at 45:34. Mel Gula capped the run less than four minutes later when dribbled along the left base line and scored from in tight.
