Following an F&M turnover, junior Kyle Doran hit the front-end of a pair of free throws to tie the game at the 3:57-mark. Senior Nikhil Panu then gave the Blue Jays' their first lead of the game with a three-pointer with 3:17 to play.

• F&M opened the game on an 11-3 run as the Dips made five of their first seven field goals. The lead swung up and down as the teams swapped buckets over the ensuing three minutes. Leading 16-8 with 11:20 to play in the half, Jared Wright hit a pair of free throws followed by a Lior Levy layup and the visitors led by 12.
• Hopkins twice cut the deficit to nine, but each time Franklin & Marshall answered and a fast-break layup by Tate put the Diplomats up 14 with 5:19 to go in the half. Gardner came right back with a triple to spark a 13-3 run that sliced the deficit to three heading into the half. • Coming out of the half, F&M went on a 9-2 run, punctuated by a three from Tate to put the visitors on top 38-28.
