Coach's Corner
• Head coach Tim Cole: "Erica Johnston carried us. She knows how to play hard in matches and tough situations because she always goes hard in training. Erica represents 'Every Play Every Day.' Tonight she was contagious. We will need more from everyone. Every day I forget that Esther Hong is actually a first-year in terms of match experience. She showed some timidness then bounced back very well. Genevieve Thomas came in and settled herself down nicely."
Players' Take
• Sophomore Michelle Abt: "We got a good rep at pushing through an imperfect situation and grinding it out."
• Junior Erica Johnston: "It is clear that our serving is a weapon. We need to consistently use it."
• Junior Elizabeth Wuerstle: "Washington College was a quality team. We need to respond better to our errors moving forward. "
